Mr.Ganesh Chandra Panda (Vice-Principal), M.Tech. (IIT, Kanpur)
Mr. Panda as a faculty in TITE is very much experienced and specialized one. He started his carrier as a faculty in applied mechanics and hydraulics in REC, Rourkela. Being selected through public service commission, joined in water resources department, Govt. of Odisha and rose to the level of joint director. He worked in the Water Resource Department of more than 30 years and actively participated in the formulation of state water policy, strategic Environment Policy, guidelines for preparation of EIA and EMP etc. He is a versatile person, who has successfully handled his major responsibility as a leader in monitoring and execution of water recourses projects in the state of Odisha. He has rich accumulation of experiences both in teaching, planning and designing of inter liking of river basins both in Peninsular and Himalayan component under National Water Dev. Agency, Ministry of Water Resources, Govt. of India.
He has published 18 no of technical papers in various journals of National importance like Institute of Engineers (India), Indian Water Resource Society and recipient of 13 gold medals because of his outstanding contribution in the field of research in water resources sector.He has actively participated in various National and International seminars, workshop, IIT’s, XIMB, World Bank Assisted Programme and International Hydrology Programme under VRIJE University, Brussels, Belgium.After completion of both in academic and planning, designing and execution of Water Recourses Projects, as well as administrative head of an Autonomous Institute, WALMI (Water and Land Management Institute), Govt. of Odisha, has joined TITE in the month of May,2011. His rich experience is an asset for the students as well as for the Institute.

Research Activity: Hydrology and action research on water resources projects.
