Overview
In accordance with the guidelines laid down by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi (vide Letter No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 01.07.2009), the Anti-Ragging Committee of TempleCity Institute of Technology & Engineering (TITE) has been constituted to ensure a safe, respectful, and ragging-free environment for all students on campus.
The committee is responsible for implementing preventive measures against ragging, handling student grievances related to ragging, and fostering awareness among students about the consequences of such acts. TITE maintains zero tolerance toward any form of ragging, ensuring compliance with national directives and creating a culture of dignity and mutual respect.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Anti-Ragging Committee is entrusted with the following responsibilities:
Preventing any form of ragging within and outside the campus.
Creating awareness among students regarding anti-ragging policies.
Addressing and resolving complaints related to ragging swiftly and effectively.
Monitoring vulnerable areas such as hostels, corridors, and recreational spaces.
Ensuring the display of anti-ragging posters and helpline numbers throughout the campus.
Promote the creation of quality circles and organize seminars and workshops at intra- and inter-institutional levels.
Organizing sensitization workshops and orientation sessions for students and staff.
Collaborating with local authorities for necessary legal actions if required.

TITE is fully committed to eradicating ragging in all its forms and ensuring a healthy academic and social atmosphere for all students. Students and parents are encouraged to report any such incident immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee. Confidentiality and prompt action are guaranteed.
Important Note to Students
Ragging is a punishable offense under the law. Any student found guilty of engaging in or abetting ragging shall face strict disciplinary action, including suspension, rustication, or legal proceedings as per the directives of the AICTE and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
