Outcome Based Education (OBE)

After recognizing the importance of accreditation in connection with the Washington Accord, a college incorporated the OBE concepts into its curriculum, syllabi, and evaluation. There were five undergraduate programs and one graduate program, which included MBA. Throughout the entire teaching-learning process, the OBE has been utilized in this process. In compliance with the Graduate Attributes, PEOs, and POs listed in the NBA standards, markers have been made and distributed to the relevant parties. When PEOs were established, factors it including lifelong learning, breadth professionalism, core competency, and readiness were taken into consideration. These align with the institutes and the departments' vision and goal. POs and PSOs have been mapped using PEOs. PO and PSO mapping has been done with PEOs. Every course outcome has been identified, as has the extent to which it correlates with certain POs. The PEOs and attainments are evaluated when the POs and student performance in each course are connected throughout the evaluation process (Internal Assessment and Semester Examination). In order to apply outcome-based education and continuously monitor student progress, closed-loop 360° feedback is utilized. Several committees at the departmental and college levels continue to assess the students' progress each semester. Peer review is made possible by maintaining current documentary evidence.

Bloom's taxonomy levels and CO are printed on all internal assessment question papers and quizzes. The POs are then mapped to the COs, and the PO attainment is subsequently computed. This calculation is used to try to remedy the system's shortcomings. Projects and seminars also help students achieve the POs. Additional courses are offered in order to improve PO performance.
